WebHare’s Publisher module is a powerful content management environment, built around one or more so-called WebHare sites. A WebHare site represents an environment in which information is placed, by means of files and folders. This information can then be published to Internet, extranet or intranet sites.

Per site, you can specify what users may maintain the sites and what privileges they have in maintaining content of the site.

This manual will explain how to create WebHare sites, how to define users and user groups, and how to configure the rights users have to maintain files and folders in that site.

This manual will not go into the details about how to create and maintain files and folders.

For more information about creating, storing and structuring content in a WebHare site, please refer to the Content management manual.

This manual is only intended for WebHare users with site management rights, and cannot be used by any other user.

All screen captures used in this manual assume the following user-specific settings:

· English language

· Standard skin

· Login with Sysop rights

· Advanced interface options

!

As the screen captures and options described in this manual assume a Sysop user, some of the options may not be available to users with different rights.

In such cases, the relevant differences will be documented.
