How to upgrade | |
If you are using the RPM version of WebHare on linux, remove the webhare-module-development package before upgrading.
Use the normal upgrade method for your platform, as specified in the installation manual.
You may expect up to a minute of webserver downtime after running this upgrade.
Check the WebHare servicemanager.log file a couple of times after the upgrade. It may report issues with index files and documents (see the upgrade notes above for more information), and you should correct them as soon as they are reported.
The new photo gallery folder type is initially disabled. You should not enable it on a production server until you have updated and tested your templates and installed the proper content listing files, to avoid confusion amongst your users (the default photo gallery is not that pretty). To enable the gallery folder type, go to System > General > Registry, look up the publisher.extensions.photoalbums key, and set it to 1.
